It's time to start marking your calendars for one of the most colorfully spectacular event of the year. The thirteenth annual E HULA MAU Hula and Chant Competition is being presented by Na Mamo. This extravaganza will take place from August 31 through September 2, 2007 at the Long Beach Performing Art's Center.

Why attend E Hula Mau?

The Labor Day weekend promises to bring an abundance of Hawaiiana to the Southland. E HULA MAU `07 will be featuring seventeen of the most talented kumu (hula teachers) and their halau (dance schools) from California. It is expected to draw a weekend audience of nearly 20,000 people - the greater majority coming from Southern California. Halau entries from Northern California and the Hawaiian Islands will also bring a large audience of supporters as indicated by the sellout of the Atrium Hotel and the nearly sold out hotels in the area.

Following the competition Na Mamo will also be presenting: The Mahalo Bash, "Come and Enjoy the Melodious sounds of Hawaii".  Featuring such notable musicians, Robi Kahakalau and Sean Na'auao.
